The life education van and Harold have been at my 6 yo daughter's school 2 years in a row.
My daughter Lily attends Glenroy West Primary School and I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank both the school and Harold. Tonight while walking home from school, my daughter said "look Mum, there's a needle". We were just passed St. Vincent de Paul and we went to them and asked if they had a safe sharps container. They did and said they would safely remove the syringe.
I asked my daughter how she knew about syringes and that they needed to be removed safely, that she couldn't touch it etc. She said "Harold taught her".
So a very big thank you to Harold and the wonderful Life Education Van. We look forward to see you next year.
And a big thank you to Pam and Glenroy West Primary for promoting such a wonderful program.
Kind Regards
Kara Rysava

Greetings Team Glenroy West

Firstly, I would like to thank to both my supervisor Mrs. Denise Mendham and school staff. They have been very supportive in my decision to pursue the new career.

These 100 hours at Glenroy West Primary School were fruitful and insightful experience. I enjoyed working with my supervising teacher, other ES staff members, and the students.

I understand more of what the teaching profession entails and I have utmost respect for the work that teachers do.

To sum it up, this placement has provided me with the confidence. I have certainly benefited from the valuable feedback provided by my supervising teacher and other staff.

All hours of learning and valuable experience that I have gained both from school and the workforce have equipped me with the readiness to take on the challenges ahead.

Lastly I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Mrs. Denise Mendham for her personal guidance and assistance throughout these 100 hours. I am so thankful for this opportunity. I have certainly benefited from my mentor.

Thank you very much Glenroy West Primary School….

Meghana Dani.
