An upgrade of the school’s administration area and the development of the multi-purpose area were completed in 2006. This area includes reception, offices, sickbay, canteen & multi-purpose room.

New teaching spaces, funded through the Commonwealth Government’s “Building the Education Revolution” program were completed at the end of 1st Term, 2011.

These teaching spaces have provided the school with more flexible teaching and learning areas. Our teaching and learning practices are evolving to utilise these spaces with expert groups, project spaces and focused teaching areas. This building currently houses our Level 3 to 6 students.

The grounds are large and well maintained and feature an oval where kids enjoy kicking a footy, a game of cricket or just a run around. Our basketball rings have recently been upgraded to provide a more attractive playspace.

All of our playgrounds, including the Rainbow Land adventure playground, are shaded in addition to many of the quiet seating areas around the school grounds.

Our whole community at Glenroy West Primary also take great pride and care in the maintenance of our native gardens and vegetable gardens.
